Hanacha collects information needed to answer enquiries, process orders and operate this website. This may include your name, email address, delivery and billing details, order history and the information you send us.
Orders & payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Hanacha does not store your full payment card number. Order and contact information is shared with the service providers needed to run the shop, process payments and deliver your order.
Address suggestions
When available, address suggestions use Google Maps. As you type in the street-address field, the address search text is sent to Google to find matching Australian addresses. You can choose Enter address manually to stop suggestions and complete every field yourself. We do not store address search text or suggestion lists. Your chosen delivery address is used to process your order and is saved to your account only when you choose to save it. See Google’s privacy policy.
Website data
Guest bags are saved in your browser. If you choose a Hanacha account, we save your bag to that account so you can use it on another device. You can choose to save your name and delivery address, or remove your saved address in Your account. Sign-in uses your email address and password. We send email verification, password recovery and account welcome messages to help you manage your account. Card details are handled separately by Stripe. We use aggregate website statistics to understand how the shop is used. If you allow browsing analytics, we record pages and products viewed, shopping actions, approximate active time, scroll depth, referring website, broad location, device, browser and operating system. A unique link in an email can associate these visits with the business contact who received it; a forwarded link does not identify the person using it. A browser identifier helps recognise return visits for up to 90 days. We do not record keystrokes, form contents, payment details or precise location for this analytics. You can decline or withdraw permission below. Detailed browsing history and link requests are removed or de-identified after 90 days. Link requests are counted separately and may include automated email security checks. Hosting, database, email and payment providers may process information outside Australia.
Email preferences
Marketing is optional and is not required to create an account or place an order. We record the consent choice, its wording, source and time. You can change your preference in Your account, use an unsubscribe link in a marketing email, or contact hello@hanacha.com.au. Receipts and essential order updates are sent separately from marketing.
Keeping information
We retain information needed to fulfil orders, provide customer service and meet our business and legal record-keeping obligations. Access to customer and order information is restricted to authorised users and service providers.
