Preparation & storage
Start with 2 g of powder and 60 ml of warm water. Whisk until evenly mixed, then add water or your preferred milk to taste.
Keep sealed in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and strong aromas. Reseal after each use and use a clean, dry spoon. For best quality, enjoy within 1–2 months of opening; follow the best-before date on your pack.

Tarui Tea Farm is a family-run farm, factory and shop in Nearai, near Hamamatsu in Shizuoka. Second-generation farmer Takayuki continues the family’s tea growing, with his daughter Ai learning alongside him. This genmaicha powder combines autumn-harvest, deep-steamed green tea from Shizuoka with toasted rice from Toyama, in a 50:50 blend.
